Government statistics show that 75% of those who served in vietnam were
volunteers, most came from middle-class backgrounds and as a group they
approximated the recial makeup of the U.S. population. Those characteris-
tics stand in stark contrast to the popular notion of Vietnam soldiers as draft-
ees, disproportionately poor and greatly overrepresented by minorities. It's
true that many college students obtained temporary deferments from military
draft and that black Americans suffered disproportionately high casualties in
the early part of the conflict. But by war's end, death rates matched the racial
makeup of the United States.......................Steve Waterman, Retired Navy Seal
Korea once was called
the forgotten war. The
American people and
the U.S.Government did
forget not only the little
nasty war,but the vetrans
of that war. The Korean
war vet never received
a ticker tape parade like
the WW II vets,it was like
no one cared about them
or the war.They were all
Hero's and no one noticed.
POW's were left in Korea..
   KOREAN WAR
      1950-1953

        34,000
    AMERICAN
  SERVICEMEN
       KILLED
           IN
      ACTION
   IN 3 SHORT YEARS

Over 8,000 servicemen were once considered Missing In Action from the Korean War.
Of those Missing In Action, unidentified remains of over 800 of these servicemen are
buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at the Punchbowl,Honolulu,Hawaii
Our Government has designated all POW-MIA'S dead, body's not recovered, or remains
recovered but not identified from the Korean War. There are still 8,100 Korean War POW-MIA
including 389 who were at one time listed as POW'S. Our Government turned their back on these men,
and lied to their families and to the American people concerning their
true status. THEY LEFT THEM BEHIND WITHOUT BLINKING AN EYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MISSOURI POW-MIA KOREA & VIETNAM.

Little did we who went to Vietnam know that our Government would do a instant replay of leaving POW-MIA'S behind in the hands of the enemy, and knowing the North Vietnamese had American
servicemen that they would release for a set sum of money did nothing to arrange their
freedom. We Vietnam Vet's were not given a Hero's welcome,or parade, not even a small thank
you, instead we were spit on, cussed out, called baby killers, war mongers, no good SOB's,
to put it mildly we were the scum of the earth. Our POW/MIA's were
betrayed from the begining.
Then there were the wounderful people like Jane Fonda who sold out 100% to the North
Vietnamese commies, because she is a commie her self. Jane Fonda is a TRAITOR. While
American servicemen were being held in POW camps she
gives comfort and aid to the
enemy.
She also made radio broadcast for radio Hanoi urging American soldiers to desert and
called American POW's "liars and hypocrites" when they told of their torture, beatings
and starvation. If this is not TREASON,I don't know what is

THERE ARE POW'S ALIVE READ THE PROOF
One thing I must address now is the POW/MIA issue. Our Government no matter how strong or how weak
it may be and with all it's faults, is still the greatest
Nation in the world, I want to make that clear.
So why would the greatest Nation in the world turn
it's back on our servicemen that are held as prisoners
in some Asian country, and tell the American people
that they are all dead, when there is proof that they
are still alive.
Administration after Administration has refused to resolve
the problem and return our men to America.  The former
President Bush, knew full well that North Viet Nam and
other communist countrys are holding Americans in POW
camps, yet refused to do anything about it. He had first hand
knowledge even before becoming President, because he
was head of the CIA.
President Clinton started normal trade relations with Viet Nam
without getting a full accounting of our POW's and the men
that are missing. By doing this, he put us futher away from
getting the truth out of the Vietnamese Government about
our men that are being held against their will. The Vietnamese
have lied, our Government has lied, the Military has lied, but
our men who are being held as prisoners are the one's who
are living these lies. Please get involved, help bring our men
HOME. There is so much proof that these men are still ALIVE,
yet our government has declared them all dead. How would
it feel to be alive and to have everyone believe that you were
dead day after day, year after year? Please get involved, by
having our leaders address the POW/MIA issue honestly and
bring them home. It's time to get our head out of the sand and
pressure the President and Congress to act NOW!!!!!!
